Bone Thugs N Harmony E 1999 Eternal Zip

A look back at Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's 'E. 1999 Eternal' 20 years later. It starts with a haunting introduction. A demonic voice takes the mic, paving the way for a revolutionary new sound in rap. Bizzy Bone’s verse kicks in. It’s melodic, but it’s most definitely a rap.

It’s quite really unlike anything else out there at the time. The year is 1995. Notorious B.I.G. And are a couple of the biggest names in rap, and these cats from Cleveland come along with a fresh, dark sound. Now Cleveland, Ohio has never been known for its contributions to hip hop music. It probably never will be. But if ever there was a case to take the city’s contribution to hip hop culture seriously, it would be because of E.

1999 Eternal download free. full Album, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony - E. 5 Mar 2015 - 72 min - Uploaded by shoeprano27E. 1999 Eternal is the second studio album by American hip hop group Bone Thugs-N. 'East 1999' is Bone Thugs-n-Harmony's second single released in 1995 from their album E. 1999 Eternal. This is one of five songs on the album to feature member Flesh-n-Bone who wasn't signed to Ruthless with the rest of the group.

1999 Eternal. The album, which came out twenty years ago today, embodied a mutated G-funk sound laced with the band’s unique flows, of which they rap with the utmost respect for harmony. The rappers, by the way, more specifically are, Layzie Bone, Bizzy Bone, Wish Bone, and Flesh-n-Bone. Krayzie is the only MC to appear on all tracks, but Layzie and Bizzy are on most of them as well. 1999 Eternal has all the makings for a classic hip hop album. It’s chalk full of classics without cheesy attempts at singles.

The LP was unique in production and, and its influence has lasted into present day due to the Thugs’ forward-thinking flows. It was even one of the last projects that Eazy-E worked on before he passed away (“Crossroad” is dedicated to him). All of these factors helped to make the record one of the best selling hip hop albums of all time. The sound on E. 1999 is one of a kind. DJ U-Neek, who made each beat on the album, lived up to the name with his production.

It melted the modern sounds with G-funk with the syrup pace of Texas rap. Some of the high moments in terms of sampling come on “Mo Murda” when U-Neek sampled Bootsy Collins’, better known as the excentric bassist in George Clinton’s Parliament-Funkadelic, track “I’d Rather Be With You. It was also pretty genius when the crew flipped The Isley Brothers’ legitimate love song “Choosey Lover” into the ultimate stoner song on “Buddah Lovaz.” There’s no doubt that these Cleveland cats loved their trees. The album’s melodic, slow instrumentation has gone on to spawn less funky vibes that you see in or Yung Lean’s kind of music.

Cloud rap, or whatever you want to call it, definitely takes more than a couple nods from E. Just listen to the beats on “Crept and We Came,” “Mr. Bill Collector,” or “No Shorts, No Losses” for those vibes. Of course, those unmistakable G-funk synths haven’t really found themselves in modern rap culture too often, but the general smoked-out, leaned-back (pun intended) vibe is all over the place, from the obvious examples that A$AP Rocky and Ferg provide to the less obvious artists like Atlanta’s and Father, the latter of which embodies a lot of that evil darkness that the Thugs thrived on. “Down ’71 (The Getaway)” and “Die Die Die” employ straight-up murderous lyrics; stuff that was really, really dark and hard: “Cause nigga the sawed-off ain't full of shit Me lovin' to smoke tweed and me weed man They givin' me what me need man when I light my blunt Fold the niggas up in me hood so when we smoke smoke smoke Get paid good so we gonna blaze good So come to The Land where all the thugs be real Them St.

Graced with a quick and sometimes sung delivery, along with a unique sense of melody, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony burst out of Cleveland, Ohio in the mid-'90s with a pair of massive hits ('Thuggish Ruggish Bone' and 'Tha Crossroads') along with a great first album, as well as a successful follow-up, and then quickly unraveled. Mainstream interest dropped off toward the tail end of the '90s, but the group, which underwent a series of lineup changes, continued to release new material via mixtapes and albums throughout the 2000s. N.W.A's Eazy-E signed the group - initially comprised of Krayzie Bone, Wish Bone, Flesh-N-Bone, Layzie Bone, and Bizzy Bone - to Ruthless Records.

The debut release from Bone was an EP, Creepin on ah Come Up (1994). The EP boasted 'Thuggish Ruggish Bone,' a conventional G-funk song with an unconventional array of Bone Thug rappers that became an overnight summer anthem, especially throughout the Midwest.

The single crossed into the Billboard Hot 100, where it peaked at number 22. Amid the fervor, the group immediately reentered the studio and emerged with a remarkable album, E 1999 Eternal (1995). The album topped the Billboard 200 and the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts and spawned a pair of popular singles, '1st of the Month' and 'Tha Crossroads,' the latter a dedication to the deceased Eazy-E and a Grammy Award recipient. As was in vogue at the time, the group members subsequently pursued respective solo careers and also a Mo Thugs Family spinoff group; none of these ventures rivaled the proper Bone projects. At this point, the onetime cohesive group, which specialized in interwoven, harmonious singing as well as rapping, became conflicted and the group members failed to collaborate well. However, their second album, Art of War (1997) - an ambitious double-disc package - was very successful. Not only did it top the same Billboard charts as E 1999 Eternal, but lead single 'Look into My Eyes' went Top Five on the Hot 100.

Within a year of release, it was certified quadruple platinum for over four million units sold in the U.S. A second round of solo albums sold poorly, and Bone quickly slid off the mainstream radar. Occasional reunions, such as 2000's BTNHResurrection and 2002's Thug World Order, produced some moments of glory, but these were few and far between. Thug Stories, released in 2006 on Koch, placed the group - at the time, a trio minus Bizzy - in the Top 30 of the Billboard 200. Bone then signed to Swizz Beatz's Interscope-affiliated Full Surface boutique label, where they issued 2007's Strength & Loyalty. A major-label budget allowed for guest spots from the Game, Mariah Carey, Akon, Bow Wow, and Twista, and the set eventually sold over 500,000 copies, earning gold certification. Bizzy returned for 2010's Uni5: The World's Enemy.

The album debuted at number 14 on the Billboard 200. A handful of dates excepted, Bizzy was absent from the album's promotional tour. He returned for the 2013 release Art of War: WWIII, but this time Krayzie and Wish Bone were out of the group, with both working on solo careers. In 2017, Krayzie and Bizzy revealed they were working on a duet album, New Waves, under the group name Bone Thugs. In advance of the album's release, they dropped a single, 'Coming Home,' with a guest appearance from reggae artist Stephen Marley. Jason Birchmeier.

Perhaps Bone Thugs-N-Harmony have created a new genre of music and should no longer be considered 'rap.' No, they're not singing over a rap beat, or rapping over an R&B tune or sampled loop; so what exactly are they doing? What Bone Thugs-N-Harmony are doing is fascinating the industry with an idiosyncratic vocal style--call it harmony hip-hop.
E. 1999 ETERNAL, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's first full-length release, further displays the trio's Cleveland-born music, and continues to concentrate on their thuggish-ruggish lifestyle. While Bone touch on the same themes as the bulk of gangsta rappers, they transform their world into a horror-filled fantasy. Thus, 'Crossroad' deals not only with the reality of death, but with the inevitability of meeting the 'missed ones' on the other side; and 'Down '71 (The Getaway)' tells a tale of the group's escape from an execution.
Not only are Bone Thugs-N-Harmony vocally unique (the a capella 'Me Killa' is the rap equivalent of doo-wop), but the beats represent both the East and West coast rap schools. On E. 1999 ETERNAL, D.J. U-Neek controls the boards, and helps Bone establish a Midwestern brand of hip-hop.
